About the Race

The 1 mile Kids Fun Run race will begin at 8am and 5K will begin at 8:30am at the Clawson-Burnely Park on the Greenway Trail in Boone. This is a Family Friendly Race, so Children of all ages are welcome to run/walk as well. Strollers and dogs are permitted. All races will begin at the park. The Kids Fun Run will be a 1 mile race. The 5K will go to the section on the greenway trail near the water treatment plant. There, you will see a water station to rehydrate.

 This is a timed race, but it welcomed for seasoned runners and for community members that just want to take part in this great cause and event. At the end of the race, we will have a celebration. We will do awards, and just enjoy being together and honoring these great people we run to remember. Please join us and help us as we never forget!
