Who Are We?
Hunter's Heroes Team wishes to inspire us to remember those that gave the ultimate sacrifice in service to the community and also to embrace the loved ones that lost someone too soon. Hunter’s Heroes started as a Memorial Run for Deputy William Mast Jr. who died suddenly in the line of duty. His son, Hunter Mast, was born 17 days later. We honor public safety officers and military personnel for their service to North Carolina and to the United States. Our intentions are to remember and celebrate their commitment and to provide financial support to their families in times of need.
We have be truly honored to say, that through our Races, Community Dinners, and our recent Jeep Raffle, we have been able to help so many wonderful heroes and families. We want to thank all of our supporters for helping us make this all happen.
Countdown to Race Day!
11th Annual Hunter's Heroes Race 2025
Please Join Us for the 11th Annual Hunter's Heroes Race on Saturday, March 29, 2025. This year will be a little different from the years past, as we are not just going to honor one hero, but ALL of our heroes past and present. We will join together to raise funds that will allow Hunter's Heroes to help heroes all throughout the year, as well as members of our community that need assistance with medical expenses. We will have our 1 mile Fun Run for our kids 2-10 years old. This race will begin at 8:00am. We will also still have our 5k. Due to damage to parts of our greenway, we are unable to offer our 10K race this year. We hope to be able to offer this again in the future. We have lots of volunteers lined up to help us make sure that our routes go smoothly too. We are so honored that we have been able to help so many first responder families over the past 12 years, as well as members of our wonderful community. The Hunter's Heroes Team wants to be able to continue helping our First Responders, Families, and serve our community for years to come, but we can't do it without your help. Please join us as we Run to Remember and honor ALL our Heroes. We can't wait to see you there.

We are so proud to be having our 11th Annual Hunter's Heroes Memorial Run this year.
Race time begins: 8:00 am on Saturday March 29, 2025 at the Clawson-Burnley park on the greenway trail in Boone, NC. We will have our 5k & 10K ,as well as a kids fun run (1 mile). Invite your friends and family and support a great cause!
